Entomology

Session 1 & 2

Learn insect facts & how to make an Ed. display. We will go on field trips, do experiments & ID insects by common and order names. There will be lots of hands-on activities. We hope the first meeting will be a field trip to collect insects (dependent on the weather). We will go on field trips in the summer to collect insects for fair collections. This year we will explore different careers in Entomology as well.

Session 1 (homeschool) & 2 (after school) will be held on the 1st Friday of the month.

Session 3

At the entomology meetings, we will have fun learning about insects with hands on activities. We will learn which insect order are true bugs, learn how insects, eat, fly, about their habitats and life cycles. We will go on field trips in the summer to collect insects for fair collections. As a small group we can make insect educational displays.

Session 3 will be held on the 2nd Friday of the month.
