Goats (Dairy & Meat)

Join our Animal Science Group focusing on goat projects, where members can participate in both meat and dairy goat activities from October through June. We emphasize hands-on learning experiences in animal care, proper husbandry, and fiscal management, along with field trips and presentations from professionals in the field. Members work with breeds such as Boer, Kiko, Alpine, Lamancha, and Nigerian Dwarf goats, but owning a goat is not required to participate. The group fosters teamwork, responsibility, and prepares members for county fair in July & State Fair at end of August!
